Are the oil coolers on our bikes thermostatically controlled?
Does anyone block it off at all in cold weather?

I don't think there is a thermostat as the oil needs to follow the path for proper lubrication. I do know that Harley's have leather jackets for the oil coolers. I really don't think it's a concern, but maybe running 10-40 in the winter and the 15-50 for the summer

You shouldn't block it off at all.. cooler oil is better oil and if it gets cold enough to be an issue.. you probably won't be out riding.
