Now everyone of us knows how great these bikes look, sitting a stride them, parked in the garage or in the drive. Now I have never had opportunity to see these bikes along side mine as they are tooling down the road as there are no others around where I live. Yesterday I went for a putt with a friend and on the way back decided to let him ride "Blue".
I followed him for a ways and was admiring the rear profile of the bike, then I swung along side and saw the profile of that beautiful blue bike glistening in the sun. I could not believe how gorgeous she looks! The shape, that incredible Caspian Blue, WOW, it was just gorgeous. It is by far the best looking bike on the road, full of character, class and just plain beautiful! Now sorry for the rant, but I have not had the privilege of riding along side and America before, now I know why people double take when I drive past!

Just IMO, but, I firmly believe its the most sweetly designed rear section of any cruiser syled motorcycle - for whatever that's worth...

So call me Carly Simon, but I think our bikes are the most beautiful on the road as well. Hell, even just sitting in the driveway they are addictive to look at! All the curves seem just right, like a classic Ferrari or Jaguar, leading the eyes along like a cat following catnip...

Last weekend I passed a Speedmaster parked at a store, and my head did that Linda Blair exorcist thing.
And I have my own beautiful Speedmaster!

Wow thanks guys,somtimes reading this forum makes me feel much better.....
now I know I am not crazy for standing in my driveway somtimes and just starring at my bike.

I brought my baby home for the first time last Saturday. My bro-in-law and Mom drove me to Waco to pick her up, then followed me back. Going west on Hwy 84, you come to Hwy 116 going south to Copperas Cove and my home. At the corner of 84 and 116 there is a nice little convenience store. We stopped there to see a man about a horse, and I thought I might as well top her off. No sooner did I walk in to pay and see that man with the horse, 50 or 60 motorcycle riders pulled up. All driving Harleys. They spoke not a word to me, but while inside, Mom told me that a heck of a lot of them were checking out my baby, with admiration in their eyes. Yep, these bikes are beautiful! Especially Elizabeth, my black beauty.

And to think that the Brit Iron Rebels and the Ton Up Club won't have us. I think that it's cruiser envy as we, the enlightened ones, have the really cool bikes. I'm glad to see that others have seen the light and love their bikes as much as I love mine.

Just gave mine a facelift the other day with a new tank and front fender. Thought maybe she needed it after 45,000 miles.  It's kind of like having a new bike all over again.

Since my back has been acting up and I've been taking pain meds, I haven't been able to ride My Pretty Bonnie  ...She just sits in the garage patiently, getting more beautiful each day.....When folks stop by, I brag about her ( as much as I do about my daughter, lol!) and point out every stylistic detail,inviting admiration from every angle....I haven't been this enamoured by any motorcycle I've ever owned.....My friend has made me a custom seat cover, he'll be bringing it back from Florida next week....Wooo-Hooo! And Bayern710, you are so right about the curves....I'm going to pull in my rear tail lights and lay down the license plate at some point this winter to minimize distraction from her natural shapeliness. And somehow the parallel twin has a "tuffness" to it so that the whole picture isn't too clean and smooth, if that makes sense. Perfection.

Doing okay...looks like I've laid my last course(it isn't spreading anymore). Another week or so I should be over it. Might take a ride tomorrow since it's supposed to be 85 and clear out.
