How many miles are you getting to the stock Metzelers on your Speedmaster?
I know this can vary depending on riding habits et al...but do they tend to last around 10K ish?
The front wear marks are just beginning to show on my OEM Metzelers front at 9900.00 miles.
The rear seems to be holding up well nowhere near the wear mark.

I've gotten between 10 and 11 on my first two sets. The back tire has looked better than the front in both cases.

Rears - 7500 - Original tire 11,500 - Second tire (would have gotten more but nail punctured)
Front - 14,000 - Original Still running the second

About 8k rear, 16k front. I usually get a new rear every year, new front every two years. But my riding habits may be a bit more extreme then many others. For some reason my right hand freezes up and won't release that darn throttle grip. Seems to do this a lot, I should get it looked at....my hand, not the grip.

Yea Pat. I get the general impression your front wheel is OFF the ground more than most?

NO don't get it looked at. They might fix it then. Just keep up those 16oz curls and it will all be fine Pat. Whats the avg going price for Metzlers?

about 10k here. replaced them a bit earlier for other reasons, but they still had enough tread left to make it to 10k i'm sure. Back and front were about equally worn. these were the stock lazertech front and 880 marathon rear on my speedy.

Replaced my rear at 12.8k, front at 20k+. Rear has 12k on it again now, and it will need replacing by New Year's again (when I did it last year). I have not bought either yet, or rather I paid for them, but my Road Hazard warranty reimbursed me for both, 100%. Seems they become nail magnets about the time they hit 3-4/32nds tread depth left. And it is a really good Road Hazard warranty. Call in the required info, and they pay for the new tire, 100% reimbursement, no pro-ration. I'm looking for nails, now!

13k. the rear was shot before the 10k mark but I kept pushing it. I'm known to do a burn-out every now & then.
we should do this every weekend!

Replaced my first rear at 9000 due to a puncture, at 21000 now (that's 12000 on the tire, still has plenty. Replaced front at 15000, almost to wear bars. I run 38-39 psi in both, and ride pretty hard.
