Any one know what the thread size is on the choke stud?

Spent a couple hours making a choke nob out of a peice of scrap titainium at work today came out nice (i'm a genius with a bridgeport). But time came to tap it, dont know the size.

not enough for any big projects I'm afraid,When I get my hands on any small pieces i save em for special projects.
right now I'm scrounging around for enough to make a set of
rear peg hangers.

Yes the thread gage would be the thing but, unfortunatly we dont have metric, Britished owned compnay and we do everything inches go figure. think i'll just hit the hardware store buy an assortment of bolts and see what fits.

Every hardware store has one, just go in and match it up...

I'm still just jealous of your fabrication capabilities. I have used a lot of that stuff, granted a LONG time ago, but to have access to it.... I'd give brent a run for his money!

My 2003 America choke knob thread size is 4-.70mm (4mm dia. with a .70 pitch).

thanks Jay but i figured out I could just take it all out and put a standard 10-32 through the whole and put a thin nylon insert nut on the back, dont know what made me think I HAD to use the existing hardware in the first place.
