What is the opinion on the differences of the High sissybar over the Low one if any that is sold by Triumph?

I have the low and like it. My wife likes it and it's easier for her to get on the bike. I like the looks better as well.

I have the high and to my view it is more supportive ......and more comfortable.

My opinion is; There is probably more utility with the high and the low looks better.
My preference is; Low

My wife thinks the high one is WAY more comfortable than the low and sissybar bags and backrest bags work better with the high. I agree the low may look better, but it's a form vs. function thing. I think the bike looks best of all with a solo seat and no sissy bar. If you're going to be riding 2-up a good bit, get an opinion from your rider sitting on the bike and go with what makes you happy.

It'll be no help whatsoever.....
But I had the high one on mine (it will be going on another one in the next couple of weeks....hopefully) and as it came with it on, I always thought that an America without one looked weird. It was really handy for loading up for weekends away. And shopping. And all sorts of other stuff. And having spoken to someone else with the low one one....he's gonna have to get the tall one shortly.
Get the tall one...you know it makes sense!

I have the low and it seems to work fine for my wife. The max time we usually ride is about 1.5 to 2 hrs. If we rode any longer it might be more comfortable to have the higher one.

I have the low but think the high may be better for the comfort of your passenger. Another reason that I would perfer the higher one is that if you go on weekend trips or to the store it makes hauling a backpacks or the such eaiser to attach.

I rarely have passenger, but extended the Triumph OEM backrest 10" with an aluminum plate for the reason you mention. Appearance, in the eye of the beholder, might have had something to do with it also 
BTW; I ordered a tall, a low was shipped, so retrofitting was in order. The std tall one wasn't quite high enough anyway.

My Speedy has the low and the wife is fine with it. We've attached luggage to it and it works like a charm. I chose the low over the high because it looks better and does all we need it to do.

my BA's mostly a commuter and i have the high one - i love it. i imagine the low one would suffice for strapping on the daily luggage.
