Well done commercial, with the Guns & Roses song in the background; total BS still, but I'm sure it will sucker some other poor bastage into signing away $15 grand for one.

By the way, was a good race. Good to see that there were no more last-lap surprises like last week's race. Tough break for Gordon, two DNFs in a row.

What surprises me is that HD bothers to pay for advertising at all...i mean with all the posers running around with HD t-shirts, tattoos and the like.
The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams

They obviously are playing to those who think of themselves, or want to see themselves as, Black Sheep. As opposed to all the White Sheep in the commercial that all went the same way? Or refused to leave the trailer or pen they were in?
Is H=D trying to steal TRIUMPH's tag line "GO YOUR OWN WAY"?
Or are we to believe that all the Doctors and Lawyers and Engineers and such that buy into that want to be thought of as Black Sheep?
To bad for Gordon? He broke his equipment. Sh*t happens.
How about Mark Martin? Leading the points chase, and in a position to finish with a good top 5 or top 10 finish, and gets wiped out by a rookie trying to hit pit road from the middle of the track! JEEZ! I know he's still having fun, but it would be nice to see him show some human emotion every now and then. GET MAD MARK! GET MAD!

I felt the same way about the ad. But I posted in the other bikes section. It really ties in with the need to be different, but still be a conformist. I wish the ad was in color when the sheep get to the rally. You know all the bikes were black and chrome.

Article about the aging of M/C riders in this morning's paper, said the median income for HD riders is about $80K per year.

I have to admit that "Respect" ad is really good (ie. funny). Where are they showing it?

That ("respect" commercial) has to be the absolute worst commercial I have ever seen.

HD has one print ad out for Buell in Cycle World, which states that because of the undercarriage mounting of it's mufflers, their bikes have a much lower center of gravity. OMG!
I like this line, "
