same dimensions as stock peg hanger...made out of 3/4" billet kinda pricey to make custom one-off's - they need to be this thick so they can support the weight.

Those would look awesome on my bike. Interested in making another pair? I could do without the skulls but the flame look is brilliant. I am thinking about adding the low profile seat from NewSpeedmaster.com

I had these done a few years ago in 3/4" aluminum on a CNC machine. They are a nice change from the originals.

Anything one-off is pricey.

Great job !!

What's with the original peg hangers anyway ? Talk about using a jackhammer to crack a wallnut.

5 stars just for the idea. I think I'll try something like
that. May end up with a big triangular hole, though. never worked with metal before.

Just thought I'd post even though someone may have already pointed this out. I'm responding to your comment about how "if they really were toolboxes". A number of us have thought this way and a few years ago a couple of us went and found a number of ways to mod and fit HD Softail teardrop boxes in place of the stock duck feet. I think my pics have a few shots of mine. I didn't read all the way through the thread so it's possible someone else has already said this...sorry for the repeat if they did.

But to answer your actual question, hell yeah. Nice job and a crazy cool improvement over the stocks.

I like it. I got hold of an original tool box the other day. It can be fitted and they do look similar the box is a lot thicker though. The foot rest is also a problem. I have an idea, we shall see. Centre stand mod is progressing veryyyy slower but still going.

Distinctly better than those goofy finned things Triumph put on.
