I bought a Triumph Aux Driving Light Wiring Harness ($40) to hook up some driving lights (that I have not bought yet). I spent two evenings trying to find out what was wrong, including buying 2 different relays (which do not come with the harness, and I would have had to order a Triumph one for another $20).

After going to buy another relay at radio shack that I saw recommended on this site (by BonnieUSA), I talked with the saleman, a young kid. He was sharp. We looked at the wiring diagram I had printed from this site, and his relay's wiring diagram, and the Triumph wiring harness relay socket. The Triumph wiring harness relay socket was wired/assembled wrong. I came home and carefully (but not easy) unlocked and extracted each of the socket's pins and installed them in the right place. As soon as I hooked it up to the bike, everything worked perfect! Moral of the story: just because you get a new part from Triumph, does not mean it is a good part!

Can you post a pic of the correct order of wires for the kids?

Good closeup picture taken of the back of the wire harness relay plug. It is uploaded into my photo gallery, but I don't know how to put it here. Note, the blue/white wire is the only one that is not parallel to the sides of the plug, and is the load/power wire to the lights, and is pin #30.
