I have to renew my bike insurance 1st Nov. The best quote I can find is £125.01
Through the Triumph insurance.
Fully comp.
3000 miles per year.
Datatool 3.
2 years no clams.

Is this good? Does anybody get a better deal?

I always get the best quotes from Carole Nash (0800 083 5511).
Triumph insurance was always crap for me - I believe they have improved over the last few months though (changed underwriters or something).

My insurance comes with legal protection and UK & European breakdown etc (if you get there!!!!), though to be fair, I think most have that nowadays.

£125 sounds good to me.

Try ebike insurance http://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk/ If they're much cheaper than your current quote phone Carole Nash again and my betting is that they'll just manage to beat the Ebike quote.

I have just done the insurance trial - quotes ranged from £166 - £260!! Some wouldn't even cover me as I have TOR's!

I found that if you got a quote, then told them someone else was cheaper, a few of them brought the price down - eventually got it down to about £125,(with motorcycle-direct) but that was with 5 years NCB, so I guess you are doing okay with just 2.

Yes the Triumph broker sent the renewal at £186.00
Then I got a message on my mobile from them a few days later “We haven’t sent your renewal, we are sending to day”?
When it came it was £168.00 ? Do these guys know what they are doing?
I phoned around.
Best I could get was £129.00
Phoned Triumph back and they dropped to £125.00

One more thing
When I first coasted bike insurance as a novice ride with 0 no clams the quote was £250.00
I bought the bike in the November as a novice rider. Phoned to activate the quote and was re quoted £186.00
Upon enquiring I was told “Well we can get away with charging more in the summer!” These guys are as bad as lawyers!

Tip. Buy your insurance in the winter.

Well mine is a lot dearer than any of those posted up to now, mind you, they did say that if I fixed stabilisers on it would reduce somewhat
