Anyone ever found foreward controls that work on our bikes.

Tbanga, you can buy any forward control and have someone make a mounting plate to fit our bikes....Angelis......Ps I'll send you pics of the set I bought for the turtle in progress(I call it that because I don't have the money to finish it all at once.)

I think I'm missing something here.... Our bikes already have forward controls, so you mean you want controls that are more forward? Where would you mount them?

That's the exact question! With the Corbin I lost just enough leg room to bug me. Every company on earth makes foward controls to fit every bike on the planet but ours! So I'm trying to find some that will work and not screw up the shifting, etc. and a way to mount them.
Angelis, I'll look forward to the pics.
By the way, I've opted to hold off on the big bore and ****** away money on chrome and stuff. Got some nice leather bags, set of Carlini bars, new headlight set-up on the way, chrome hand-controls. And I reckon I'll just go from there.

You can buy yourself about an inch with spacers on the foot control bar.

Got any pictures/part numbers for this? I'd give a nut for an extra inch...

Well now, that makes perfect sense.. I had the same problem when I had my Corbin.... felt like I was straddling the tank. I opted to lose the Corbin/brick instead..

TB, I found this link that I had saved a while ago for a supplier of assorted Chrome bolts, washers and spacers. I think the 3/8 inch spacers would work for moving the foot control bar forward. Click Here

I used a stack of SS washers. That way you can fine tune it. Got the idea from someone here on the old boards. In this pic you can see the little black plate I made to move the master cylinder BACK a bit away from the header (more like in its original location) and you can see how I attached my horn bracket, in the midst of the washer stack.

Also, I feel more forward with the Corbin too, so I put on different bars to give me a little more forward lean.

Here are the forward controls I was speaking of. The shifter side has to have the arm down as in the pic.....Angelis [image]http://commerce.supremelegendsusa.com/default.aspx?cgID=1&cID=4[/image]

Who was the guy (I think from California) who had and posted photos of chromed tribal flame forward controls. They were a bit pricey, but about the nicest I'd seen. Don't know if they were more forward over the stock forwards?

Some hardware stores carry the plated spacers. Westlake/Ace in the small town where I live has them.
Said Molly to James, that's a fine motorbike.

Yeah mine too. I like the SS washers because you can tweak it. I have more washers on the top bolt than the bottom for instance.

Kuryaiken makes an extended foot peg that give you from 1 and 3/4" to 4" of extension for more comfort. I have the 1 and 3/4" extension on mine ........Angelis
