I know there is a Suzuki dealer in Durango. It looks like there is no Triumph dealer within 200 miles. The closest is Colorado Springs. There is one in Albuquerque. Salt Lake City in Utah. One in Las Vegas.

We dont have a dealer in Flagstaff but we do have a Triumph certificed mechanic in an independent shop - he's a great guy and his business has grown great guns in the last year - he does pretty much all european bikes. But we're 300 miles away.

Welcome to Colorado (soon!)
I haven't really heard of a dealership that far southwest. I know that there's a guy on this site from Grand Junction, so he may know more?

Get ready to enjoy the most incredible rides through superb scenery!
Don't forget to bring your oxygen tank!

Perhaps when you get settled in, we could hook up in the summer? I only live about 300 miles away

In a former life I used to ride those roads on a 76, T-140, Cardinal red of course. There's summer country and off-season country. Enjoy the views. If you find a 2.5 gallon hard plastic gas can along the ditch somewhere, it's yours, it fell off the back in 1980 . The fuel is probably stale by now.

Welcome aboard. What will you be doing, working/going to school at Ft. Lewis, or have a job lined up?

I was down your (soon-to-be) way a couple of weeks ago, when it snowed in mid-September from Coal Bank Hill Pass, to Montrose (well, sleet from Ouray to Montrose actually, and that's worse)

Mike "FCTush" Denton is in Montrose, and I'm in Grand Junction. By the time you get settled in, it'll be time to shut it down for the winter, but there will be individual days for riding. I'm not sure what's in the Springs, but Denver has two dealerships, Erico and Foothills. I've been to Foothills, and they're a great bunch.

Take care and have a safe move.

Hey Danny -

Just caught your last name. Are you related to attorney Brian Showalter?

Hey there from Albuquerque. As far as the closest dealer to you, it will be the dealer in Farmington New Mexico. Just south of the colorado border.

All Showalter's are related. There was a family that migrated to the United States from the Alsace region from France. Somewhere from around Schleithal near the German Border.
The name can be spelled Schowalter. ((pronouced Sho-val-ta) Long a.)
The family likely lived around the Switzerland, Germany and France border area.

Besides Buck Showalter, the other most famous Showalter was Max Showalter actor(aka Casey Adams). He was my second cousin. My Dads, Dads Brother son.

Of course we do have some Black Sheep in the family.

Danny
