I was just looking at the photopost and it looks like larryshep has picked up a new graphite/silver America. We knew you couldn't hold out, Larry. As soon as I heard Chy say that you had given up motorcycling AGAIN I should have started a pool for how long it would be before you got another one and what kind it would be. Don't tell me it's your son's either. With D&D pipes and a Corbin seat it has to be yours. I couldn't see the Scotoiler but I know it has to be there somewhere. Good to see you have two-wheeled locomotion again (I soooo wish I was your dealer)

I just noticed that the date is 5.10.2006 on the pics. Is your camera set to European (dd/mm/yy) date settings or American (mm/dd/yy)?

When I was talking to Larry in GA, he was complimenting the color of my speedy and noticed my black floorboards, while I was admiring his black bonnie. Told me he was going to keep that one a while.....

for Larry, a while , amounts to 3-6 months.
and what ever he has now may not be what he shows up with at the GA rally.

The date thing is a carry over from the years in the Navy..hard habit to break. When I heard the news of the new models going to the 865 I thought if I was ever going to get back into it I much prefer the 790..I had best go now...fortunately the dealer in Cumming Ga had a Graphite/Silver in the crate and I just had to jump at the chance. You are right on the scottoiler...it will be there in a few weeks. I would like to go on Chy's ride Sunday but there is no way I can have it ready by then..got to add a few accesories...and I am waiting on a set of Metzelers which are due on the 13th of Oct...Don't like the Bridgestones and will not travel far with them. And yes, it does feel good to be back riding...just can't do without it. Thanks.

So how many does this one make?
"It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses."
