Has anyone here used the Air Box Elimination Kit from British Customs. Just wondering if there was a difference betweeen this and the one that New Speedmaster sells (The Freak). I am considering installing one of these over the winter and just wondered if anyone has experience with this kit.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,
I didn't see an air-box elimination kit on their site for the America or SpeedMaster.
The one they show for the Bonneville and Thruxton won't fit our bikes......different airbox.

They do have one for our bikes. I seen it personally at the dealer.
It is the same price, the box is cheezier and the brackets are too.
I would definatly buy the one from Brent at Newspeedmaster instead.
Better yet, this winter (all 2 weeks of it) I will be buying the one from Brent.
hope this helps.

2 weeks of winter...that sucks. We only have a week and a half.

Thanks all for the replies. I know they didn't have one showing on their site, but through email, they informed me that one was available. 2 weeks of winter? I am envious. Here in Central Pennsylvania it lasts 4 to 5 months.

SM_Wasp04 in Texas has one on his bike. It appears to be a very well built product and is about the same price as the freak kit.

The one I seen, the "tool box" had open corners and 3 sides.
Everything in there would get wet.
He must have something else then. Or I seen something different.
British customs box said it was for a TBA?

Side note - same price as Freak and Brent sells that. I will get the Freak and support Brent.

Hmmm I wonder what the heck I was seeing now.
Obviously, next time I hit the dealer I need to look at it again.
Sorry for any incorrect info, but I know what I saw so I'm still 1/2 right. Isn't that how it works?
