Hi all....

I have just replaced my SM03 indiwinkers (20 watt bulbs) with replacements (10 watt bulbs)

They are now flashing 3 times as fast.

I can't replace the bulbs cos the indicator housing is to small for 20 watt bulbs.

Is there a flasher unit replacement that will fit my bike, that will slow down the flasher speed.

Any help PLEASE..........

You can get flashers that have a fixed rate (no load detection) from any half decent auto shop. Tell them you need the 3 pin flasher with the pins numbered 31, 49, and 49A. Make sure it's a square package (not round) or it won't fit in the holder.

You do not have the bulbs screwed in correctly, try again.

Hi Matt.....I've tried a few local auto shops and as per usual I got a big Durrrrr

I was wondering if you had a part n# for one of these units or even a online shop that sells them.

Here in Scotland it's very hard to get your hands on even the simple things.

I wonder if one of those LED flashers would do the trick?

I believe that the Narva 68245BL flasher unit will work for you. It's marked as being for a mix or incandescant and LED lighting, with as little as 0.02W up to 30W per side of vehicle.

Narva's web site.

You might have better luck at a shop that sells travel trailers (caravans) and accessories.
