I'm looking at visiting the GPO rally for an hour or so this weekend in Milton Keynes.
AT THE MO .. it's looking like Saturday morning.
AT THE MO .. I'm meeting Paul at Watford Gap at around 10am.
If anyone wants a run down, they're more than welcome to tag along.
It's boring M1 down there but we could come back a different way if there's any interest.
I'll be getting on the M1 at J24 (Donnington services).
Let me know if you're interested ...
Like I say, that's AT THE MOMENT .. plans are fluid and might change at short notice ... like, anytime between now and Friday evening!!
So if you're best man at a wedding, don't be putting anything off for the run.
Weather is looking OK for Saturday and Sunday.

OK, since posting, the weather men have decided Saturday's weather is likely to be a bit sh!te.

When I looked at the BBC site earlier, all weekend was going to be dry, now they have got light rain for Fri, but Sat-Sun dry! Met orifice is the same (Gonna be frickin cold at night though!)

Not late.
Probably get there for around 11am - chew the fat for a bit, get the p!ss taken out on me for a while, then come back.
I could meet at Watford Gap a bit sooner if you need to get back - say 9am?
You could meet me at Donnington Services if you're planning on going but it would need to be around 7:30am.

Donnington is the first services I come to - I get on the M1 at J24.
Can meet at Leicester Forest East if you want.
If you don't need to be back until 6pm, we can keep the times as agreed - 10am ish at Watford Gap.
About 8:30 at LFE.

What I dont understand is, in England they put points on your licence, in Canada they deduct them, Now is the US the same?

Back in the days of yore, when the only way to get from London to Brum was M1/M45, Watford Gap services was known as the Blue Boar, after the transport cafe of the same name...jeez, it sucks gettin' old...

Grzegorz - I don't have a clue what you're expecting points and a fine for, but if it's speeding and you were in Leicestershire you'll probably get what I've just had I've been given the option of 3 points and a £60 fine, or attending a 3 hour speed awareness course, which costs £60. I'm taking the course so I can keep a clean licence Maybe see you on the course

Boy Jan, haven't heard it called that since I did social and economic history at school. Sure we covered it in a lesson. Not that I am in any way insinuating your far suprior age here of course.
