Two of the three greatest words in the English language - Texas and Bar-B-Q. Well, we'll have both at Mom and Pop's New Bonneville Shop in Jefferson this weekend at the NTNOA LOP Rally. Come over at 2pm for all you can eat BBQ, Texas Style. Informal shop tours will go on and who knows what swag will be given away. We're CRAZY!!!!!! Crazy I tell ya.............. See ya -brent

Had a great time in Jefferson today. The Smith's have done it again. All who didn't get to make it really missed out. I just love the one-off custom parts. Was good to see all of yall again.

Man you guys are fast! I thought I would say thanks to the Smiths, and yall beat me to it! For everyone that wasn't able to make it, we had a great time hanging out eating BBQ, raiding the reject parts bin (I have a new clutch cover finisher to install tomorrow), and just swapping lies... I mean tales. We stood in awe of Charlie's (bad406) 70k+ 03 Speedmaster; that bike has some tales of its own to tell. We all had a great time, and we really do appreciate the Smith's allowing us all into their home. Brent may be the face of newbonneville.com, but these folks are the heart and soul of the operation. Of course if they would let Jessica be the face of the company we would all be better off! Thanks again for everything!

I got hosed! Didn't even get third actually...that bone stock 675 won 1st!? All the bikes that won were stock or very close to it, so go figure. Next time, I need to be in the front row. No one ever votes for anything past the front row. Anyway, enough whining about no trophy this year. To Brent and Family - THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US! We had an awesome time as always and the BBQ was killer. My new Mud Flap Girl engine mount is going on next week, thanks! She makes me tingle in all the right spots...holy moly. It was great to see everyone again, I know ya'll will miss me until next year but what can ya do? This week is big bore week, so I'll let you know how it goes.

So nobody took any pics? Those of us 1,000 miles away or more would at least like to see what we missed.

It occured to me on the way home that the camera in my tank bag went unused for the entire day! There were lots of beautiful vintage Triumphs, BSAs, Nortons, and BMWs. All of which were worth taking pictures of. There were a few Harleys and Jap bikes as well. No pictures of those either. At the BBQ we had quite a few Triumphs lined up on the Smiths lawn that might have made a nice pic, but of course I didn't think about it.

Finally found a few minutes to get in here!
Many thanks to the Smith family for opening their home and shop to us. The company and food were both absolutely Awesome! For me the parts bin yeilded a much needed new speedo cable loop...Thank You again!
Nathen: Thanks for the invite...we had an awesome time! Shelia and I definately look forward to puttin' in some more miles with you! Shelia says no more 325 mile days on that stock roadster seat though. At least not in a 12 hour period. I guess I'll have to break down and put a touring seat on the speedy.
TMAX: Love your bike man! You've done an awesome job with it, and have inspired me to try and do a little of my own work. I hope I can call on you if I get in a jam! We had a great time riding with you and hope to do it again.
Charlie: You're my new HERO! You don't see many big touring bikes with 70k miles! You ARE the MAN!
Thanks again to all for making us feel welcome...look forward doing it again! Time to go check out newspeedmaster.com ; I need a new chain and sprockets now... Saturday did mine in! What better way to thank Brent and the rest of his crew than to spend a few $$.

Send them to me(just click on my name on this post and you'll get my e-mail address). Either that or you could use Image Shack. Real easy to upload pics using that, and you can even check a box that'll re-size the pics for you.

Clcik here to go to the photo album.. Levi/Wyrm74 sent them to me and I've done a quick and dirty exposure edit and resize of them.
Looks like everyone had a great time. Wish I could've been there.
