Okay, my last post was moved and I was shunned. I know that the Honda Magna brackets fit out bikes. Is there any particular year or model number of Honday Magna? There's a bunch of them and the bike has changed over the years. Just trying to get the right ones.

Thanks.

Hi.......I have the later model magna rails on my speedmaster, I think it's 1991 on model's.
There's a guy on Ebay that sells them (Cheep) I've got his name somewhere, If I find, I'll post it.

PS.....The rails need a very little bend to fit

Hope this helps!!!

Just found this Here

On Ebay takes $40 for a pair of magna rails, don't think he has them up for auction right now, but you could ask if he has any in stock

I'm running brackets from some kawsaki Vulcan. Have to ask JJ what year but they work well.

Last time I looked they were up to about $75 from JC Whiteny.
These are really nice from Bella Corse but a bit pricey at $120.

Those from Bella Corse are really nice. The bags came in yesterday after a 9 week back-order. They're very cool IMHO. They're not slanted and pretty big. Throw-over style and without a rigid back. So mounting is going to be a challenge. To put them in the right position, I'm going to need to space out to fit outside of the shocks, rather than running along next to them as a slant bag would. They'll look great eventually, but nothing worth doing is easy!

Anyone have a solution to mounting this kind of bag. I recall seeing some like this at the GA Rally.

I've got a pair of the JC whitney brackets. If you want them - $25 including USPS snail mail shipping. They do take a little persuasion to fit the bike. Not that hard. Just make sure the hardware you buy to install it does not stick into the fender too far. Don't ask how I know...

The Magna brackets (you can get ones for a 1997 V45 and they fit fine) are slanted outward to avoid the shocks.
