Anybody have major difficulty removing their gas cap? When I do finally get it loose, I don't hear any vacuum release or anything like that. I put some silicone spray on both sides of the rubber gasket so we'll see if it helps. Also, I tighten it until it clicks.

Not I, but I'm careful not to tighten much after it grabs. But on my T100, the cap can be a real PITA because it has a very small grip area. Good excuse to pony up for a Monza cap. You shouldn't hear an air swoosh chasing the vacuum unless your vent tube is blocked, so that's a good thing.

Wanna know how I fixed it? I put a very thin layer silicone based grease (same as used for spark plug boots) on the rubber gasket and now it comes off with ease. Seems like the rubber gasket was sticking because it was dry. Almost like rubbing an eraser on a table top.

I was gonna suggest some vaseline on the threads and gasket, but that isn't high tech enough....

Just don't use Vaseline (or any petroleum based product) on a rubber gasket or o-ring! It will eat it away. Silicone is best.

I had that problem the first year I had the bike and it seems to have gone away on its own. I never did figure out what the problem was.
