For 2007 the Triumph America sports a host of changes that improve both its looks and performance. Engine capacity is increased from 790cc to 865cc giving even more easy-going drive without losing any of the character. Continuing the theme of relaxed riding, pillion comfort has been improved through a redesigned, plusher pillion seat while the restyled pillion footrest hangers and chain cover give a neater finish. Reverse-cone silencers, brand new 12-spoke cast wheels, chunkier fork shrouds, adjustable clutch and front brake levers, a black engine finish with chrome covers and four rich new paint options enhance this popular, easy-going cruiser yet further.
Triumph’s custom hot-rod, the Speedmaster, has received similar attention and for 2007 features the same restyled pillion footrest hangers, redesigned chain cover and chunkier fork shrouds. Brand new, solid spoke wheels add to the bike’s appeal and while the Speedmaster’s punchy 865cc engine is essentially unchanged, the evocative, loping exhaust note now vents through a pair of deep-chromed slash-cut silencers. Four new paint schemes underscore the Speedmaster’s dark, brooding lines and pared-down hot-rod essence, ensuring the Speedmaster remains a standout middleweight cruiser from every angle.
The 2007 America and Speedmaster will be available from December 2006
