I'm changing my rear sprokcet with the new chain, but i'm leaving the front since it's a 17 i replaced the 16 with just maybe 3k ago. Any reason why i shouldn't reverse it so the side of the teeth thats pulls the chain is fresh?

Flipping that primary is a good idea, great thinking.
I think when the chain and sprocket go on mine its belt time. They do cost a ton of money but I want one.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

MAW on line can be slow as snail. I have an order in with them also. I placed an order with bike bandit and dennis kirk the same day for my son's dirt bike. Both bike bandit and dennis kirk have both shipped and maw has finally began warehouse handling.

Sometimes the reason is that MAW lists most items as "available" but it doesn't mean it's in stock. I've bought there 3 times and each time the items have had to ship from the manufacturer or distributor to MAW before they ship it to you. So any item not in stock, which seems to be most of them, is going to take couble the transit time. No biggie if you aren't in a hurry, but till i get this chain my bike is down and this weekend will be 2 weekends in a row.

When you order the belt be sure to give it plenty of time. Lead time is estimated at up to 2 months.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Or, you can drive to his shop in pA and he'll amke it for you while you wait and drink with him. Or, so I have been told.
