love the web site been reading since i bought a 2003 america
about 4 or 5 weeks ago it is ment cond only 1500 miles when
i got it and it came with alot of accesores from triumph i
think i got a pretty good deal gave about $5200 but i knew
some stuff would have to be changed like the pipes, i found out after a lot of reading were long off roads but sounded crapy
so i pulled the pipes and removed what looked like a large washer with a 1/2inch hole drilled in it mounted at the front of the pipe it was a little better but not good enuff so in the back baffle i drilled 6 3/8 holes now i like it but i dont know how i need to rejet becuase the flow is no
longer stock i removed the ai (first week)and modifyed snorkle and have no popping just want a little more power i am thinking 125 jets maby i am a master diesel tech so i can
do what needs to be done i just need a good idea so i dont have to buy 10 jets

If it sounds okay now, is not popping and runs okay I would leave it alone. you could put 130 mains in it and not hurt anything. I doubt you will find major increases in power.

If you still have the Triumph filter in there many have moved to the K&N for a bit more air flow. I don't know if it matters or not, I did it and it didnt hurt anything lol.

Unless you do cams and radical stuff, you are always going to have a 14 second machine.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Check your sparkplugs. Pure white ceramic is too lean, dark or sooty is too rich. You want a light tan color. Don't overtighten anything, the aluminum strips easily. I've got stock pipes with 3 of the baffles removed. I had 130 mains in and my plugs showed a little rich. Recently changed down to 125 mains. Bike comes stock with 120 mains.
