Comfortable, well made. No zipper for attachment to jacket. Knee protector pockets a tad low, but the pads pull up into place after I get on the bike. (I have to pull them into place, but I guess when I'm standing or walking, it makes them seem to not even be there.) Have not tried them in rain yet, but for riding in low 40 temps, more than adequate with no thermals, so should do into the 30s as well. Coin pocket is on the left - must be an English thing? They really look more like Black casual pants than jeans - could be fairly versatile from that standpoint. There is no questioning the quality made into the Triumph clothing line - you get what you pay for.

My 1st choice was the Leathertex Jean, which I understand is no longer available.

I find the knee protectors always have to be pulled up in my leathers to - probably cause they're made to fit right while riding not walking as you said.
I've been very happy with the Triumph branded gear I own but this time I chose to get a pair of First Gear overpants instead because I wanted something that was waterproof and I could get on and off over my work clothes easy.

I have to wear dress slacks, shoes, and tie every day. Really wish I could figure a way to ide to work, though, without having to change or dress after I get there. Bummer.

Leather chaps and jacket would fit over all that and come off easily enough.
