Going on 5 years and 27,000 miles and loving every minute of it. My '02 TBA is possibly the most reliable and enjoyable everyday ride I've owned. Mind you the Moto Guzzi I recently purchased has the advantage on long trips and highway haulin, but the TBA still dominates my time locally. Folks can say what they want about the 790cc engine and single front disk, but dollar for dollar the TBA delivers time and again. I have a feeling this bike will be around for many years to come.

5 Years and 27,000 and still loving it makes for a pretty good advertisement for me.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Except for a couple of minor oil leaks in the beginning I haven't had any problems with my bike either. She's been very reliable and performs great. I think she'll be in my garage for a long time. It's a rare thing these days when you can say your completely satisfied with a purchase. However, I think the best part of owning my TBA (besides riding it)has been all the folks I've met on this site.

They are great bikes. I put on 5k since getting mine the end of May. Stories like yours just add to the overall good feeling about owning a TBA. I have a great dealer, bike has been perfect and couldn't agree more about meeting some pretty cool folks on rides and chat forums.

It's all good, but it's all make believe

I have over 30,000 miles on my 03 America, and the only thing I do to it is regular maintenance. I've replaced both sprockets and chain once, replaced 4 shims in buckets, running a little loose. THATS IT! Oh yea, I do change the oil and filters.

Funny story,.. Last year there was a poker run to raise money for something,( I dont pay any mind to that stuff, just pay my fee and ride).. Anyhow 5 of my buddies (who all own HD and give me a hard time aobut my BA) were ridding in our own pack.. We stop half way through and get fuel in some po dunk little town on the out skirts of Charleston.. As were gassin up,this old burly looking guy comes out and says from across the parking lot," hey manthat is a sweet looking scooter" andwalks up to my buddies Road King.. Well my buddy thinking he was talkign to him answers and tells him he can sit on it if he wants.. The old man says ok and hops on my bike. That just happend to be the one my buddy was standing infront of lol.. I just kept my mouth shut and smiled.

I love that story about the TBA and the Harley guys!. I had an eighty year old woman come up to me and start telling me about the Triumph her late husband owned and how much he loved it. I thought she was going to complain to me about bikers or something and instead she started reminiscing about her husband and how much fun they had with their Bonnie! When I bought my Triumph, I bought into a history as rich as any bike out there, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
