WATCH OUT FOR THIS PAYPAL EMAL

***IT'S A FRAUD***

PayPal is constantly working to ensure security by regularly screening the accounts in our system.
We recently reviewed your account, and we need more information about your business to allow us to provide uninterrupted service.

We would like to return your account to regular standing as soon as possible

To continue using PayPal's service without interruption, you will need to answer a few questions about your account and you may be asked to complete a short series of steps on the PayPal website. The purpose of this is to verify your identity and business information, as applicable.

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-2**-2**-5**-8**.)

How can I return my account to regular standing?

Please visit the Resolution Center and complete the "Steps to Provide More Information."

Completing all the checklist items will automatically restore your account access.

We appreciate your business and apologise for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the warning! I did hear something very similar from Amazon account holders!

If you get an e-mail that looks fishy don't open it, forward it to:
spoof@paypal.com
They'll try to catch them.

Easiest way of picking scam paypal emails is they usually start with "Dear Customer". Genuine PayPal emails start with your name, and never ask you to "click on this link" or supply confidential information. THEY already know it.

I've had it too.... I forwarded it on to PayPal and they've told me some stuff to do....

The email sent back started with my name...and said it wasn't from them.

They've recommended the toolbar too.

Right-those guys in Africa with the jillion dollars they want to give you never seem to give up. Got one of those today and notices from banks about my account I've never heard of. But I guess enough people bite to make it worth their while.

It's bad enough to have a fairly common name and be the only one in the phone book. Another guy with the same name, different initial NEVER pays his bills and I get phone calls about him all the time. I can't beleive he still gets credit.

And I thought the Lawyer in Napal was really my friend who wanted to give me $500,000 if I helped him cash his checks at my bank.
