been today on rocket run organised by RAT must say had a great day. first time on a rocket loaned from local dealer so could attend.this bike is stunning, but got to say still love the speedy.maybe in future i might consider trading but tend to think i will wait for the rumoured 1500cc twin
the rocket is aptly named, you slightly twist the throttle and you end up on the moon (licence killer)

Agree on that one. All the adjectives apply to the Rocket machine. Rode one briefly last year and it was..... incredible. In the final analysis, for me anyhow, the America/Speedmaster gets me from point A to point B just fine

FYI I was at my local dealer a few days ago & chatting over a smoke with the manager. He tells me he managed to "peer over the shoulder" of the CEO of Triumph Australia the other day and catch sight of offical confirmation of the 1500cc cruiser range for next year. He was neccisarily vague about details, but it's a positive sign.

I plan to try a Rocket this year at Biketoberfest in Daytona. It sounds great, but I question my need for so much engine. I talked to an ex-Triumph employee who tells me that the 1500cc bike is definitely coming soon. That seems more my range. Maybe I'll add it as my second bike and try to convince my wife that she really does want to learn to ride from the front seat! I've had a real time just getting her on my bike at all!

I like the R3, but up untill now have declined to ride one, only because I know I would probably want one I think I may have a look at the new cruiser when/if it appears, unfortunately I cannot see my wife letting me have two bikes again But I am pretty good at persuading her

I'm absolutely going to look at the 1500cc cruiser if it comes out!
