I moved here recently, and don't have a soul to ride with. My only riding partner just went overseas for a year.
Any riders in this (or Boston) area?

Most definitely. I live about 10 minutes from that dealer.
I'm off for a ride now, and just realized I'm not going anywhere in particular, since I'm out riding alone.

Come over the the NorEast rally and have lots of friends to ride with, many from your neck of the woods will be here.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

I'd love to, but
A) I'm still breaking in the new engine,
and
B) I couldn't get the time off anyway. Things are pretty busy around here.

Come on, ride up to Pat's with the CT & NH crew!
A) You'll break in the engine on the way, we'll change the oil when we get there,
and
B) You'll have plenty of time to look for a new job when we get back!

I have no problem looking for a new job, it's getting my good old Uncle Sam to release me from my current job, not that I'd want to.

You have three weeks. Try and figure something out. It looks like the NE Rally will be quite an event.

I'll work on it. Heck, in 3 weeks my bike will be past the break in point already.

I visit a friend in Wilmington, MA fairly often, I'll let you know if I ever bring the bike up!

Every decent day I'm on the bike. Sometimes just for work, sometimes alone, sometimes I toss my better half on the back. I'm always open for a ride.

They just did some major engine work for me last month. So far, no problems. I've heard both good and bad about them as a dealership, but I've never heard a bad thing about their technicians. Apparently they're pretty good. They've treated me well, anyway.
Mostly I go to the dealer in Salem. It's smaller, closer to me, and he's a great guy. More than once he's let me park outside his bay and use his tools for a minute at no charge.

TJ, Welcome to the area. We just had the New Hampshire rally a few week ago but we could always plan a foilage run in October for the New England folks on here.
