Here's what I do. I leave Baltimore Thursday after an early day at work hitting the Red Eye's Dock Bar on the way to Ocean City. I make it to downtown Ocean City, comingle and cavort and then hit the sack. Friday morning I meet a few folks and we run to Chincoteague (stopping along the way for refreshmments) ahead of the Mr. Whippy Ice Cream run (200 - 300 bikes). By the time the Mr. Whippy ride hits Chincoteague we're ready to ride back to O.C. We then hang out all night at the 707, Trader Lee's, Bearded Clam, Broken Oar and Cork Bar to name a few. Saturday morning we're running back to Baltimore for Hampden Fest.
If anyone wants to hook up let me know. The ride to Chincoteague is pretty nice with a stop or two on the way.

Unfortunately with my schedule, it looks like this year is going to be a day trip again. I’m probably going to ride to OC for the day that Saturday and head back that evening. Hopefully without a meeting with a state trooper this time…

we always head to chincoteague ahead of the whippy run. better and faster service (less of crowd) and run at our own pace. to each his own, obviously. i do know that on thursday i'll be at the clam between 7 and 8, very thirsty.

if any of you guys happen by RAW Designs/METRICFATS at the vendor booths, stop by and say hello. they're not Triumph guys, but they are doing some cool stuff. they're also buds of mine from the job.
they don't know me as mert so say "shari with the Triumph..you know, that girl from work." or something like that.
i think they'd think it a real nice thing to have visitors from our site('cuz i talk about it all the time)
thanks guys, shari

Jeff,
I should make it to the Clam thursday, I found out that there is a Marine Corp League detachment about 10 streets from my hotel and they have beers for .75 cents so I might make it there on the bus .
Gene,
I'm meeting some of the PGR guys saturday at 11:00 am at the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle club booth if you guys are down, they are suppose to be getting a ride set up.

Howdy All, I'm Jim and new here. Just bought a speedy about 6 weeks ago, just about to click 2 grand on the odo and loving it. Anyway, I'm planning to head to OC early THursday and I may hit Hampden Fest on Saturday as I have a show that night and live in Hampden. I'd like to hook up with some fellow rats.
Jethro, do you ride a red America? I saw one on Eastern Ave in Dundalk about a month ago.

Are they still calling for thunderstorms? I can wait til 5.
Oh, and I am a comic. My show is in Northern VA somewhere. I'm at the comedy factory hosting the funniest person in B-more contest tommorow. I also have to be back because I host roller derby and the finals are Sunday.
I've heard of Twin Six and maybe seen them years ago, but I may be thinking of Slant Six. Was that a B-More rockabilly band years ago?

I don't remember Slant Six, but my old band, The Twin Six , was sorta rockabilly, sorta swedish metal, sorta country!! And yes, it looks like it'll be a wet ride down. If you want to meet up and ride down with us give me a shout on my cell. 410-935-1642.

well we had a BLAST this weekend! hope everyone who ventured out made it back safely. i did lose the left cylinder on the way to ocean city riding in pouring (and i mean pouring) rain. a spray of wd-40 on the coils and wires under the tank had us back on the road in 15 minutes!! i'm gonna pop the tank and dielectric grease every thing under there.

I had a great time though I was a little too intoxicated to make it down to the clam Thursday. After the free shower on the way down we dried out in the hotel bar and kind of never left. I saw a one other America at my hotel on 54th street but never seen the rider, and down at the track some guy was talking to me about his Silver America when I was rolling out. The best riding of the weekend was Sunday, but the best drinking was either Thursday, Friday , or Saturday they all turened out pretty good. Best of all the rain just made everyday a wet t-shirt contest.
