This new "ban" smacks of immaturity, so, I need to go somewhere else.

Like that old Jim Reeves song, "Adios, amigo. Adios, my friend."

See Ya Papa,
Hope to meet you someday, and I hope you find another forum where you don't have to email your post to the "inner sanctum" of moderators, then they make the post.
That was NOT religious! Inner sanctums exist everywhere. Maybe we're heading for "preapproved posts only".
Every forum I've ever visited has a bit of flaming, but here it is done with understanding. I have not been offended by anything ever posted on this site, until now. But I am above it, so all is well with me.
Adios Amigo. See, I know lots of Spanish, like "Pup and Taco".

Ride Safe, Dennis Triumph, it's how I live and what I ride.

I have not made many posts here, however I visit the site daily, and I cannot sit back any longer without making comment. Before I do please do not take offence (it seems a little contagious at the moment) I do not wish to offend anyone with these comments.

I am amazed at the childish reaction to the moderators imposing some "rules". I get the distinct impression that some people feel that they have the right to post anything they want to, (I admit I get sick and tired of reading some of the posts which the mods have banned.) I cannot believe that people would choose to leave because they have had some rules imposed, I think that it is both narrow minded, and childish. I am entitled to my views, and as I have been told opinions are like Ar-e Hol-s, everyones got one.

You people that have been upset by the banning of posts, visit some forums that are not moderated at all here is a link http://originalforum.justhelicopters.com/msgboard.asp?ForumID=23 then go to a forum which is moderated and see the difference http://www.pprune.org .

I have had my little spit so will crawl back under my rock and enjoy the moderated forum here at BA.com

Have a good weekend,

cruser

PapaDean,

Don't leave. We need voices of reason around here. Your input has always been appreciated.

Yeah Dood, we need all the hot-rodding expertise you can get around here! Don't make the Dinquolator one of the few (the proud) shining examples of mechanistic virtue around this here forum.

So long Dean, and ride well. I will miss your technical expertise. I am sticking around. I think the "Ban" has more bark than bite. Just like telling the kids you'd beat them senseless if they don't straighten out. It gets then to pay attention (for a while).
It seems easier to post a questionable remark than it would be to say it to ones face. I try not to post something I would not say directly to that persons eyeballs. Then again, maybe I'm too polite (or just a wuss).

If you're looking for immaturity, look in the mirror.

Come back anytime.
