I'm looking for your recomendations for a waterproof bag (on wheels if possible) that also serves as a backrest, that mounts on a sissy bar, and fits a speedmaster well. Is that so much to ask? [There must be a good reason that so many of these bags are not waterproof, but off hand I can't imagine why that is.]

LJ, I thought "T bags" carried something along those lines, wheels anyway. I looked at their site a lot 2-3 years ago, keeping an eye on the close outs. I wasn't certain which "slip over pocket" size fit the Triumph back rest properly. Ended up buying Carolina Leatherworks gear out of Carolina (of course). Maybe somebody else on here can provide input, or just contact them directly. I see T Bags on the road all the time. http://www.t-bags.com/Hope this helps, could be you've already looked. JH

freedom beat me to it. t-bag model Route 66, in their large bag selection. I use one of their expandable bags all the time. I think there is another vendor that has a traditional luggage model as well. I'll keep looking. Good luck.

I think you are best off making waterproof, size, and wheels your top priority, and then improvise the backrest part when you get it, you know packing it a certain way, maybe even strap a pad to the front of it, that kinda thing.
