Hi all,
New here and very excited to now be a part of this group.
I am riding a 06 speedmaster and love'n it. The first thing that desperately is asking for change is the rear turning signals. For my taste they need to be moved to the side and have a more elegant style maybe more bullet shaped. I have seen some really beautiful mods in the member’s gallery proving it’s possible. I am not mechanically inclined, not stupid mind you but have little experience with wiring.
Questions:
Is it possible to order turning lights meant for a Harley and attach them to my bike if so are there specs I need to pay attention to when ordering the lights to make the job easier? Is this a project that someone with little experience can do? Is it just a matter of using the existing wires and attaching them to the new turn signals? Anyone have any links that show how to do something like this?
Thanks for the help I really appreciate it

A lot of folks have put on Kuryakyn Silver Bullet turnsignals, front & rear. Try a search for Silver Bullets.

Yes Reido that style only mounted on the side of the bike. Who makes those? How complicated is it to wire something like that, do you use exsisting wires or do you need something more?

They are Arlen Ness. Heres a link. Small SignalsIt is very simple wiring. You just connect your positve wire to the existing wire and you need to connect a wire from the light to the ground wire. I used a washer type butt connector and put that over the mounting screw. When you take off your lisc plate you can see the nuts and wires. As far as the other question goes, If it's a light and you can mount it, you should be able to use it. There is a small obsticle with LED lights. They will require different flashers or some wiring adjustments, but not that difficult. There are some threads around here that address this issue. Heres one... http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...p;page=3#132806Welcome aboard!
