Hello all... I'm new to the forum, but I have had my Bonneville America since June 2002. Bought her brand new. She now has 15,000 miles on her. I've done a few mods. Here is a recent pic, 'though I usually don't have the windshield on. Really prefer the wind in my ugly face. This looks like a great site! PEACE shaman

Welcome aboard, ugly-faced stranger. That's a purty ride you got there. Nice colour... almost as nice as green.

Bob, The shocks are some aftermarket cheapos I got off eBay a couple years ago. I wanted to see how covered shocks would look, in keeping with my vision (and Triumph's) of a 'classic motorcycle' look. They are marketed for Harleys (had to change out the bushings & sleeves) and are 10.5" eye to eye, so I believe that lowers the rear end about an inch. I'd like to find a better quality progressive, but have had no luck finding them 'covered'. One place (not gonna name names) never even responded to my inquiry. Any help in this department would be greatly appreciated
PEACE

Welcome! Nice bike there, and in the right color as well... If you have a look in my photo album, you can see the fully shrouded Hagons I've got. Like several others already said - show us some more pics!

Welcome Shaman! What took so long to find us? Check the whole site out, the tech vault is loaded with mods and money saving tips. Watch out for a weirdo hairy backed guy on a black SM though, there is a strange one up near you...

Welcome to the site Shaman! Seeing that back road with real green surrounding it makes me miss my true home state of upstate NY. At least there are turns up there with a broken up horizon. All there is in the panhandle of FL is straight lines and it's vast flatness. Anyway, there is a lot of experiance on tap around here, and beer, all you have to do is ask!

Hey... I just wanna thank y'all for the warm welcomes, helpful tips and the nice comments on my bike. I'm going to try to get some more shots of her from different angles tomorrow evening. Meanwhile, I must continue my search for that elusive T100 primary sprocket cover... Thanks again for all the replies! PEACE shaman (Tom)

Nice photo Tom, you sure can tell that your other hobby is photography! Looks like a cool place to ride...
Question for moderators: Is this site ever going to run another photo contest like 03/04?
TBA, Stainless extractors / drag pipes, 65mm over forward controls, Thruxton needles, 904cc, head ported, lowered 1-inch, Console removed, relocated battery box, Australia.

Last week I promised to post a couple more photos of my bike. I've been extremely busy, (I work in the Electronics Department at a University and classes are just starting!) Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to get some shots from other angles. Thanks again for the warm welcome & all the comments on my bike. PEACE shaman
