Anyone for some EPL Fantasy Football? Never done it myself but I'm up for learning. I set up a league and team, so just click the link below. Choose a team within the budget and you're good to go. There's even an area for talking sh*t so we don't have to do it on here!

Great Jon, please send it to anyone you think would want to join. I've sent it to a few folks not involved w/this site also.

Mark, I need the idiot guide as well. I browsed through the faq section to learn a bit and it doesn't appear to be very difficult. I think the most difficult part is to field a strong team without going over the budget.

I think you have until the 18th to complete your roster. Let me know if you have trouble w/it and I'll try to help.

Hey Brian, does it tell you that the name you have chosen is taken and offer another option? That happened to me 3 times when I tried.

Does the link in my first post work for you?

If it doesn't work, go to espn.com and click on the "fantasy" section; then "soccer". The league name is Triumph Bonnies and the password to get in is "go reds". Hope that helps!

So are we limited to 30 transfers once the season starts?

We're on the unlimited transfer league. We have the option to change before the season starts though - it just seemed easier to make it competitive. Any thoughts?

OK guys.

Sorry, but i am already starting to get peeved at this.

For this very reason is why i have never signed up for these things before.

What am i supposed to do here. I think i now have three different member or what ever they call you names and i can not remember what password i first put in.

Hey Mark, did you try this page?

Unlimited transfers are fine. I like changing my team from week-to-week.

Sorry you're having a frustrating time Mark. Give it one more go. Choose a new name and new password (and remember it!). You can bond w/Ian, one of my friends from Kent who has signed up - he's a huge Arsenal fan. Other than that he's ok.

First you customize your entry by slecting a team name, etc. Then you pick the players.

Now THAT sounds gay.

All I can think of is Phil Collins singing "su su butteo".

Now that cra$p is going to be in my head the rest of the day.

I am in. Love Chelski and wish I could get the whole team for the fantasy team but then I would dominate just like the real all blues. This should be fun, hope we can get a few more guys into it before the season begins but if not I will just have to beat those of you that are signed up for now. Except of course A$$enalfan that is if he can figure out how to put a squad together. Will enjoy as always seeing Chelsea knock everybody around the pitch but now I will have to hope Arsenal lose every game 3-2 with Henry scoring both goals.

My tip of the day: Don't buy Rooney or Scholes. They were both handed down 3 match bans that start on the 23rd of this month for being sent off in a "friendly" against Portugal 2 weeks ago.

"Scholes was sent off in the second half after he picked up a second yellow card following a clumsy tackle."

Scholes and clumsy tackling go together like fish and chips.

I can tell you're going to make this fun! Too bad you don't have enough monski to field all blues. Did you enjoy the match last weekend? You may have liked it better if Liverpool would have started all of the stars, but the young guys played well, didn't they?

7 teams so far...

hey with this league is there a way of seeing who others are picking up. I dont want to know so that I can pick up the same players but rather to get different ones and a little friendly harrassment for stupid picks.

From what I understand, you'll be able to see everybody elses team after the first match.

What the heck am i doing wrong here. Im on the list of players (I think), but i cant find any thing. No list of players no nothing.

I put in my player name 'Mr-T-Henry', and have found some page that has that on it.

Dont know what im doing wrong here, but im not impressed at all. Tried to do this a few years ago and gave up for the same reasons.

Hey everyone, there's still room for a few teams. Just don't mention you are a fan of Arsenal - I think the espn system doens't like them. It appears that everyone else is working out fine.

Well I had a poor Saturday and Sunday, thanks mostly to Tottenham losing 2-0 to Bolton, but my team had a great Tuesday scoring 53 points with Berbatov getting a goal and an assist. Right back at it today with Shevchenko already scoring a goal. Looks like I'll be in first place after today.

Wouldn't it be shameful if some Yank won this league?

I am in it for the long haul. I have a couple of Chelski players that are out with injuries but will be back and instead of transfering them and not getting them back when they get back and go up in price I will stick with them. We will see what happens when the dust settles, you know about dust in Arizona right?

It's been a few years since I've played one of these ESPN market rate type fantasy games, but if it's anything like it was in the past, those prices should be dropping on injured players. Can't find anything on the site though that says the market value for players will increase or decrease over the course of the season.

IME, the best way to be competitive in these games is to adjust your roster to the schedule from week-to-week. Arsenal only played one match the first week, so I didn't pick any of their players. I thought Tottenham and Chelsea had favorable matches so I had at least a couple from each of those teams. However, I did miss the news of Ledley King's injury, but I replaced him today.
