Welcome to the forum Jar66! With the 998cc kit, if I remember correctly, you have to get your cases bored. This is for clearance for the piston skirt. There will be a lot of machine work that will have to be done. Including getting the crank reground, getting the juggs bored and sleeved. I would recomend getting bigger carbs to, that is a big piston that is going to be sucking a lot of air in there! I don't mean to bring you down about it Jarr66 but no one said it was going to be easy!

Sorry about that (fat fingers). I ment the 994cc kit from www.british-customs.com . It is a really attractive looking set, I just wish that I had the $$ to get it. Maybe in due time, but I don't see it happening in quite a while.

from what i hear wiseco is the way to go as far as reliability, but pulling the crank and all the extra mechine work is going to cost a pretty penny

Ghostrider, I noticed you were from Navarre, FL. D&D Cycles in Pensacola does a turn-key big bore set up similar to the British Customs. They either swap or have your own core re-bored and re-nickeled. Much better than using sleeves and same reliability and design concept as stock. Ask Dink about it.

Thanks for everybody about comments.
Just wanna continue little bit talk about the my issue.
Pages from www.wiseco-europe.com I found following information.
There is new kit, model CK172. That its for america models -02-05.
Price here in Finland is 600,00 euros.
Bore x stroke is 47mm x 74,35mm. What else i had to change in motor. (Ghostrider answer was: "Including getting the crank reground, getting the juggs bored and sleeved. I would recomend getting bigger carbs to, that is a big piston"..)
What crank reground means? (I didn't find it from dictionary)
Do the stroke getlonger? If compare orginal? Do i need longer connection rods?
At the end, does enyone has been done it? Is it worth of it ?

the stroke gets a bit longer, they have to reweld the crank but also make room for the extra movement inside

RamSound, I have talked to Dink about it at great length, but I just can't get over the cost of labor. I know that they do great work, I haven't heard one bad thing about them, all praise! I will see if I can't purchase the BB and do the work myself. One more thing RamSound, I'm pretty sure that I have seen you around the area. Red and silver America right?
Jarr66, just like what Frank said, the stroke will get longer, because you are "moving" the crankshaft pin where the connecting rod attaches to the crankshaft. You shouldn't need longer connecting rods because the increased stroke is what you are trying to get out of the regrinding or "moving" of the crankshaft pin.

Thank you. I give up. Too much work (and euros). Maybe kit 904cc is easier? or Turbo ( a joke ).

You know I guess it's all in how you look at it in regards to cost. The new WiseCo 998 (994?) basically gives you an added 200 CC's. While you're doing all that add the performance cams when they come out for the 795 and now you have the most beautiful bike made, with a 1000 cc's and you can make the accountant on the Harley next to you at the light cry.
Really, if you paid an additional $2,500 for the machine work, parts, and labor, your still $2K lower than what you would pay for the bigger Sportster, you'd be faster, better looking, chick's will dig you, and you don't have to buy the required Harley costume!

I have picked up a couple Triumph T-shirts short and long sleeve so I now have the Triumph costume/uniform.
All I need is the dough for the big bore and the aforementioned details needed to bring it to fruition.
