Has anyone noticed that Brent is carrying a new WiseCo Big Bore kit which brings you up to 988 instead of 904? Same price!

It's the same price for THE KIT, but you'll be spending a fortune on the labor and modifications to support it. Unless you have LOTS of money to spend and are willing to have your bike down for a few months, it's not really a viable performance option for the majority of us. You'd have to completely disassemble the engine and have the crankshaft professionally welded up and reground and rebalanced (Like PapaDean Said), and THEN you'd more than likely have to have the interior of the crankcase clearanced so that the connecting rods aren't hitting either the base of the cylinder bores or other parts of the case due to the increased stroke.

Somebody please make a 988 long block crate engine... already tweaked and ready to bolt in... with a warranty.
