Just got a notice from the local Triumph dealer about a recall on the back shocks on my Speedy. I have made an appointment to have them changed out and was just was wondering if any one had this done already. Also if any one has had this done if they have any additional information.

Khatt, I have an 04 SM. got a recall note last year, and had the swap done last fall. Asked the dealer if I could just have the new shocks as I was planing on putting on a set of Prog. No deal they had to make the swap. Still havent switched to Prog. shocks yet. My winter project I guess Mark

Member SRS got a recall notice on his March 04 bike, but I didn't get one for my Dec 03 bike. I think it was a very limited number of bikes that had the problem with the shocks.

The recall notice lists only 2004 Speedmasters and Americas. There were 1400+ units affected.
