I live in Birmingham, AL. Barber is one of the world's greatest motorcycle collections, with a world-class track. Anyone who can get here, should do so, if for no other reason than to check out the museum and the ride to 29 Dreams.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

The Triumph calendar shows that on that weekend (Oct. 20-21) the Thruxton Cup series is being raced at Barber. I had tentatively planned to go to see the racing and didn't know about the Vintage thing. Funny though, there's no mention of the Thruxton Cup on the flyer for that weekend. I guess it's not vintage, but would be another good reason to go.

Anyone comin' to my neck of the woods for the event? If so, I have a ride route that visits 3 covered bridges north of Birmingham. Also, if interested, we can meet at 29 Dreams for breakfast and take the twisties to Barber.

Possibly, let me get back from the Noreaster then I'll decide if i've had all the riding I can stand for awhile. We've talked about making that run a few times so maybe... just maybe.
