Is anybody using these?? Are they worth Spending $15 for?? Since it seems like they're one of the few ignition upgrades that are open to us with the current state of Aftermarket support, I'd be willing to give them a shake.
Thanks for any input,
Michael D. Rodriguez

In a box in my living room waiting for me to get home from my buisness trip to install... I figured it was a fairly cheap upgrade and certainly won't hurt!

Can't really say i had much of an improvement that was felt. but i only rode the bike for about 30 miles with them before taking out the airbox and re-jetting.

My daughters boyfriend, a Yamaha/Kawasaki tech said for me not to waste the money. Typically, platinum plugs in cars don't yield as high performance and most guys replace them with regular resistor plugs. I just put a set of the standard NGK's in my bike at 8,000 miles.

Hello, appreciate the collective inputs, will probably just put that money towards something else. Saw the "insane" post by another gentleman on this forum, if he put over $6 grand in aftermarket stuff, I guess I have some catching up to do, figure I'm only in the $2500 dollar range :-)

I'll check, but I believe that the Iridium plugs are the 100k mile plugs in the newer Lexus cars. If so, my techs say it's worth changeing the Platinums at 60k, but those cars with theIiridium plugs can go 100k without a problem.
