I am new to the forum, and this is my first post. I bought my TBA in May of '05 and have just over 8000 miles on it. I love the bike (it is my first) and I think I'm hooked on Triumph for the future. My dealer on the other hand (House of Power in Palm Bay, Florida) has been a nightmare from day one. They have tried to overcharge me for accessories and installation of same, (items included in original purchase contract) as well as overcharging for service work and performing poor quality work. When it came time for my last scheduled service appointment, I decided to look for someone new to do it. I found a new shop in Melbourne, Florida (Adventure Motorsports) whose co-owner was employed by Triumph America for over twenty years as a mechanic and tech rep. When he got into my bike, he found a cracked airbox full of water (damaged by the dealer during my last service), a missing dowel in the engine, missing screws in the exhaust system, a ruined air filter and every valve needing adjustment. When I spoke to the dealer about getting a replacement airbox under warranty, they gave me nothing but attitude about going to another service shop. I have placed a call to the customer service rep with Triumph America in Georgia and expect to hear from him within the next couple of days. In the meantime, I urge anyone in the Central Florida area to steer clear of House of Power. Buy your Triumph from one of the other Triumph dealers in the area (Orlando or West Palm Beach) and if you need service locally go to Adventure Motorsports. They are friendly, knowledgeable, quick and interested in doing quality work at a fair price without surprises. In the near future I plan to replace the stock pipes with bubs or sceptors, and rejet the carbs for better performance. I really love the bike (green and silver) and am slowly adding touches to it to make it mine. I especially like the fact that it isn't a Harley and is different from most of the other bikes on the road! For what it is worth, I've found this web site to be most informative and interesting. It has taken me the better part of a few days just to take in the pictures, some of the older posts and the links to aftermarket suppliers. Hope to hang out for a while to come.

You want to talk about House of Pain, just ask Moe! No doubt he will fill you in on all the gory details.
If you get no joy from Adventure in Melbourne, try Palm beach Triumph. I know its a lonngg way to go, but their service cannot be beat. They are very good for parts/ accessories, and they don't rip you off on shipping either!
Oh by the way, welcome to the site!

Welcome to the site Red! I'll chime in about House of Poop, formerly Conn (you out of money)'s. We bought our 02 there, and that was the only good thing I'll say about them. Bad attitudes, bad service, I'll never go back. I have gone down to Palm Beach and found Bob and Marney to be great folks to deal with. Tried Cycle Riders in Orlando and was not impressed either. Nice to know about Adventure, and next time I need something I can't handle, I'll give them a try. I'll be out riding the HD on Friday to get my Power Commander dyno'd/mapped and dialed in, maybe be lookin for a place to have a beer in the afternoon. drop me a PM. later, Tom.
But, what do I know?

Panman,
I haven't had a problem with Cycle Riders Orlando, at least I don't think I have. Is there something I am missing?
Red, welcome. There are guys on this site that have forgotten more than I will ever know about motorcycles, especially Triumphs.

Hey Red, I live on the Treasure Coast. PM me and we can do some riding. Stick with Bob at Palm Beach Triumph. Has to be a reason he was the number one Triumph dealer in the US last year. It is worth the drive from the Treasure Coast. Welcome aboard. Hey Nobby, living in UK how did you learn so much about this part of Florida. I am Looking for a tour of the UK and Scotland in the next one to two years. When the time comes maybe could mark me out a map to ride?/Mark
