Hi All,

Anyone who has seen my recent post knows I was planning to take delivery of a new '06 Silver/Graphite BA in the morning to replace my black '04 BA.

Well, I decided to pass....I'd end up taking the hit on the trade, with only 8000 miles on it, my payment and insurance would go up, as well as my interest rate. Lets not forget the $300 to move all of my accessories from the black bike to the silver one.

In a year, I'd have another bike with 8000 (or more) miles on her and will have paid more money than I currently am for the priviledge.

The few issues I've had with the bike since the crash have been fixed without a hassle by my dealer.

It's funny...I actually feel good about my decision. The black one is my first bike. I guess I'm just not ready to let her go yet.

On the other hand, I hope I don't regret it down the road.

Nels

I understand completely and I don't think you will regret it. Take the crash as a lesson learned that you get beyond.

Have you considered changing tanks or repainting the one you have to the black/graphite? It may not be a new bike, but it would look just like one.

Either way, you still have a ride, and you're still above ground! Important things first!

I know what you mean.
Though I had a new T100 before the America (plus a couple of learner bikes), I'd be gutted to not have my America.

Told my ex they'd better get a digger when they bury me 'cause I'm being buried on it!

Who says you can't take it with you?!!
