Can you be more specific? A lot of guys have "gone retro," just maybe not in the manner you're thinking. If you have your own particular spin on it, have at it and maybe you'll be the first.

I did some chrome pinstriping to my tank and encorperated the Triumph bagde in it like the old trophy's and thunderbird...Here's a crappy camera phone pic of the bike.

I want to paint the front end all gloss black and get rid of the speedometer. I really wnt to find a nice headlight nacelle that would definately throw it back 50 years

Retro huh?
You could drill some holes in the bottom of the motor and loosen all the case screws so it leaks oil, then short a bunch of wires so the wiring always smokes, then rip all the light bulbs out and ride it at night.
Is that what you mean?

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat

That rear fender is amazing! Did you have it made custom or was it readily available?

The fender on the hot rod speedy is one I built by cutting a stock one. I had a 3/16 plate cut on a water jet machine with slots for the l.e.ds. Attaching studs were welded to that plate before it was welded into the fender and conduit was run to keep wires away from the tire.

Is this bike lowered as well? Very cool - I have wanted to lower my bike and was wondering what was done, cost, etc.. (if in fact it was lowered.)

Pop - I used Progressive Suspension front fork kit and rear shocks. Lowered rear 1 inch and the front 2 inches, but I made up 1 inch in the front by using a 19 inch wheel and tire combo -Tommy
