does any one organise a uk anual meet, if so when and where? if not how shal we go about it, i suggest we make it sumwhere in the middle of the country, so everyone has a chance of getting there, or we look at where we all live and try and pick a point where most of us will have an equal ammount to ride to?. i live in the north east. but really dont mind how far i need to ride. if we can sort a time and place early enuf it would be a good chance to book time off work, or grovel to our other half's, or even convince them to come too?. :

Not yearly mate, we generally meet several times during the year.
Different days for a run out (Ace cafe, Derbyshire Dale near me, North Yorks for the Oop North guys) or an overnighter somewhere (see Warwickshire Wobble for the next one, we've done Wales the week after heavy snow and camping in North Yorks in March) or a full weekend at an organised bike meet (the first was at the Farmyard in mid June).
Then of course theres the ba.com European meeting (which we won't talk about!!).
Just had the first in Germany ... well most of us did!!
Next one is next year - Sweden.
Get the time booked off from work and I'll try and remember my passport this time! DOH!!!!!
Keep looking, there are lots of meets organised during the year.
If you come to a few, you'll notice it's always the same faces that make it though.
There are a few guys oop north so if you fancy organising one, post it and we'll see about joining in!
Most of us don't baulk at the thought of a few hundred miles a day in the saddle - we're not 'potter to the local bike meet 10 miles away' types.

Then we have to sort out accomodation as well then Nothing wrong in what we do now, a ride up north a ride down south. It is always the same people though that turn up at these events, as to why I cannot answer that one

thats why i thought it would be a good idea to try and get more people together,it doesnt have to be owt flash, even if its just a bike meet not a over night thing. if we could get somthing arranged in advance, it might give people time to book the day off work,im trying my best to meet up with some of you, but there always seems to be somthing to scupper my plans, ive just got home from visiting my brother in worksop(notts)he isnt too well at the moment(had a stroke).i was in birmingham on friday/saturday visiting my other brother.so as you can see i dont mind a bit of mileage!, but i suppose there are others that like to keep the mileage down on there bikes. it was just a thought but im happy to just try and come along to a meet on a sunday, i just hope i get my bike sorted soon. it was a nightmare on the bonnie loan bike, it feels a bit too cramped for me.

Depends the on woman herself.
Me - I'm good at all sorts. Long distance riding being one of them...
Making banners.
Causing trouble.
I can think of others if you want me to....
