I checked my Fiche Man parts fiche for numbers but it didn't list the Speedmaster. What you need though is a pair of Speedmaster risers and a set of handlebars. I think you will be OK on cable length. Controls, electrics, etc are all the same.

Why not get new risers that angle back the present bars and bring em back to you? Or would this not be far enough back, nor wide enough? Just curious.

one converts to the other directly. no need to change cables if you are doing a straight conversion.

The stock America cables are all a little longer than the stock Speedmaster cables, about 2", throttles and clutch. The reason is because the SM has shorter, lower bars and the BA's bars are wider and taller. I have sets of both and the BA ones are longer.

Not sure about the electrics, but my SM seems to have extra slack so maybe...

If you don't mind risking a couple extra days downtime, start with just the bars and risers. Re-routing may take care of most of your cable length problems.

Why don't you go sit on an america to get an idea of where the bars are, ie. the position your arms are in when holding the bars on the america.
Then go home and remove your speedy bars from the risers and hold them in roughly the same position, that way you'll know if the cabling has enough stretch in it.
hmmm funny line to follow

I am running the America bars on my '04 Speedmaster. You have to replace the 3 cables from the America & use the risers from the America.WALLA!You've got it.The bars are 1" bars.(same size as Harley& a lot of other bikes) You can get all this stuff from your local Triumph dealer. You'll love it when you get them on.Send me you email address & I'll send you some pictures of it.( my E-mail address is :kennys@bellsouth.net) Kenny

i put t100 bonnie bars on mine. quite comfy and a good mix of the speedy bars and the wider tba bars.
i had to reroute the throttle cables a bit but no biggie.
you can find them on ebay for pretty cheap. think i paid 10 bucks.
