The helmet is worth every dime it cost.I paid $150.00 for it with the visor. This helmet will stop head buffiting.A lot of times people think it's there windshield or something is causing buffiting-this helmet put 20 mph on my riding & it is very cool-heat wise.I think it looks great & it is light as a feather-true carbon fiber.I am just tickled with it.Just thought you guys would like hearing about it.

I have one of their DOT half shells, not the carbon fiber but I have to agree with you... tried many different brands and styles to find one that was actually comfortable to wear and their's is by far the lightest, smallest, no head-buffeting, almost forget it's on helmet I have ever owned.
I was intending to buy one of the Head Trip carbon fiber helmets but couldn't get one in time for the Georgia Rally so ended up with the Daytona. I dunno for the fifty bucks I have a hard time imagining that a Head Trip at over three times the price would be worth it....

Agreed. Ordered one a couple of months ago. It fits like a glove and there is no buffeting. Also has a lower profile than most half helmets so you don't look like a mushroom. Can't beat it for the money. Just hope it works if I ever need it....it is DOT.

If they would build a carbon fiber full face flip up, that weighs in at around one or two pounds, with a layer of soundproofing thrown in for good measure...
