I have been waiting over a month for chrome cam cover.The dealer said 2 weeks ago it will be here any day. is this the norm.

buy a bench buffer, take it off and buff it yourself, and the footpeg brackets, and the forks, shrouds.............

It might be a good option to take em off and have a local plater do the trick on your existing.

I plan to do that this winter.

I took the cheese graters and footpeg brackets to get jet hot coated, along with my exhaust, problem solved as far as lousy chrome for those parts.

Don't feel so bad I have been waiting over a week now for mine to arrive, apparently I should have it by 18th August. I am also waiting for the Triumph Crash Bar, this is due in on the 4th August. All my parts have been from Jack Lilley in Middlesex UK...

It's just bad karma for changing something that is should be BLACK. IMHO

Chroming is a sickness, mostly limited to the America crowd. Black is beautiful. You will now find yourself spending hours polishing instead of riding.


Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should just get used to that fact and relax
