My wife has just had a fairly major Tattoo done.
A picture of it wouldn't be welcomed on this forum though lol
To give you an idea it starts on the left hand side of her ribcage and finishes on her right thigh. took 8 hours and looks great.
How sore was that dawnk?

just had a new tat done yesterday, as a matter of fact...anyone remember a "Born to ride British" above a skull with crossed daggers behind and the Hinckley Triumph script below? The skull also had a snake coming through one of the skulls eyes...well, had 'er done on my left shoulder (deltoid), minus the snake, though. looks real good...going to go back and get a Union Jack done so it looks like the flag is behind the skull.

They were just made legal to get here, most of the shops do some pretty crappy work from what i have seen. I want a big one on the back of my legs. I have to have something that can be coverd by clothes tho..

Hey Matthew Have you already had work done on your legs? I have around 35+ hours of work all the way round both arms and even into the right pit. I had my first on the right calf a couple of weeks ago. Admitedly it was nearly 3½ hours but it was by far the most uncomfortable thing I've ever done and I'd have gladly stopped after 1 minute! At least I'll know what to expect when I have the other one done ..

No have none yet,, I am wanting it on the back of ly calf, I figure it is the most meaty and furthest from the bone lol..
I live in South Carolina, hell we recently got the Lottery, now tat's next will be legal gambling...
I dont know how many of you have been here, but we have a lot of strip malls and well everyone has a small church it in.. Seems anyone can be a pastor here.. Not that thats wrong, but i prefer to go to a Church, not a store next ot Auto Zone.. But i can see it now, the strip malls will be filled with churches, tatoo parlors, title loan places and casino's

Nerves in that area are VERY SENSATIVE.
I had muscle spasms in upper back, hip, feet - all over.
In my case, it was very sensative - even painful at times.
Having nearly two complete sleeves, knowing what I know now, I'd consider you deltoid if it's your first one.
BUT ... IT'S ENTIRELY UP TO YOU ... don't let anyone decide for you.
You want it? You have what you want where you want.
I'm having another on the calf .. but I now know what to expect.

Thats where my one and only is located. No visible ink for work! After 20 years with the same company and being a pretty conservative fellow, I was the talk of the company picnic this year. FWIW, the back of the calf was virtually painless for me. Just a mild stinging. I had a crown put on a tooth earlier this year. That hurt a hell of a lot more than the tattoo and the artist was a lot better looking than my dentist!

Well, lessee.....
A Hinkly logo on the right arm, an eagle pulling out of a dive just above that. A wolf head between the shoulders. A Harley eagle and bar and shield logo on the left arm. The OL liked the wolf head so much she got one, only hers is in 2 colours.
