Jackie & I went to pick up a learner bike for her last night. A Yamaha SR 125 in mint condition & all that mattered to her was that it was the right colour for her... Green

So She jumps in the car & I jump on the 125, well I am 6 foot 2" & after riding the Rocket for the last 3 months, I will just say it was an interesting ride home
It brought back memories of my youth, I have always had a soft spot for little singles. Just had to remember that I did't have to throw it into the bends!!

Jackie couldn't stop laughing as she said I looked King Kong on a kids bike with a Triumph jacket & a full face helmet

Was strange getting on the Rocket this morning, slight size & weight difference

Martyn If you have to ask why I ride, you wouldn't understand the answer!

You're not THAT heavy mate!!

Nice learner bike though and in fabulous condition.

Apologise to Jackie for me mate, I didn't wish her all the best this afternoon for her CBT on Tuesday - "Good luck Jackie"
Take it easy and enjoy it.
The fun starts when you have enough road to get it into third!

I did my CBT on an SR. OK ride....but was nervous as hell so I don't really remember that much about it.

But getting on something that small even after the America is a strange experience, so after a Rocket.... I think I'd have laughed too!!!

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Hey good luck to Jackie, and all I can say is good job you had a full face on while riding it as you would of not liked it someone you new saw ya

Even worse if you fall off a 125 scooter in the town centre like I did

Maybe tou could have davits of the side of the rocket and hang it on there like a life boat

Small bikes make good pit lane vehicles, for bikes like the rocket. Few bikes are good for everything. Although the TBA is close.
