i am interested in doing the big bore kit from british customs the 994 kit i want the most performance i can get from a big bore has anyone done or know of anyone that has the 994 kit i would like to know if the performance level is that much better then the 904 kit

I personally can't recall having heard of anyone, either on this forum, or on the rat.net that have used the 994 kit. Besides the cost, just looking the pic on the BC website, looks like the cylinder wall is getting awfully thin, around the cam chain orifice. Just based on those pics alone, the power might be nice, but I don't think it'll have the reliability of the 904 kits. Mind you, this is all opinion, based on looking at a couple of their posted pictures.

weisco has said any more then 904 will compramise reliability, best bet would be to go with there stroker kit whcih i believve is a 988 and have some cams made up
