I was talking to my fiance the other day and she came up with a great idea. She is always complaining how I spend money on the bike and doesn't understand why I am so obsessed with my wonderful two-wheeled machine. So, why don't we add a section on the message boards for the wives/girlfriends of our's to discuss and talk about how crazy we are about our bikes. They could then talk to each other and have support, kinda like we do. What do you think?
Oh man!! I'm going to jail!!

Well. I vote no. I like to have my "boys night out" type of board and this is it as far as motorcycles go.
If we do that there will be "no secrets"
I get enough extraneous BS as it is. After you are married for awhile this will kick in on you. After the honeymoon is over.

Yeah, I agree. I am just tired of her complaining to me! I wish she had someone to complain to who understands where she is coming from, cuz I don't. Maybe she can create her own website...

Yeah David keep on telling your fiance all of her ideas are good ones. It will make for a smoother marriage. I know.. tell her you took it up with the "board" (ha.. no pun intended) of directors here.. there was a meeting it was discussed .. a few memos went back and forth and ther will be an in depth study to look at the cost effectiveness and feasability of the project. Survey's will be sent out to determine interest another meeting will be held in about 6 months to determine if another study should be done. Then say "you know honey, that was good idea .... what do you think of this tennis bracelet...

I got a name for the website. BWAM--Biker widows against motorcycles. Seriously..find an interest of hers and let her indulge as often as she likes and support her. If you don't she might start saying stuff like...it's either the bike or me.

The only thing about the bike my fiance complains about is that we don't ride it enough!

It could be a good idea *IF* domestic tranquility is maintaned by putting it on some other site that requires passwords and a secret knock.

Hey Gina - didn't mean to leave you hanging - been working too much, no time to do more than take a quick scan of the boards every couple days or so. Its slowed down some this week. But this summer has been kinda crazy - not getting to ride as much as I want. Its making me cranky!!! B

All this just proves my rule: All first dates are on two wheels. If she doesn't like bikes, you don't get involved in the first place. Love me, Love my Bike!

Then he has to have his own bike - I have no pillion seat and no rear pegs - and most guys won't ride backseat anyway. (why is that?) Sure limiting my dating pool there Brian! Becky

Just separating the wheat from the chaff, Becky. You could always ignore all advice and do what the hell you want. Kind of like ignoring the people that say goils shouldn't ride bikes.
