Ok, any of you who were tracking in the Safety section under helmets know I did something I have never done before, rode without a helmet on a trip to see what it was all about.

Now my wife, does not go on the computer. Yesterday we were talking about riding and she told me this. "I know that you have ridden without your helmet a couple of times recently."

In absolute denial, I said, no way! She replied, "Oh yes you have!" I asked her what made her think that? She replied, "I just know!"

Now unless someone here managed to get my phone number and squeal on me to her, the woman can read my mind and it's not the first time she has done this! it scares me a little bit, kind of like reading my mail, if you know what I mean? I can't get away with anything with this woman!

My wife is the same way. She always seems to know when I'm lying or keeping something from her.

This is where the confusion sets in. You go out riding and she has to know what the hell is so interesting about this site.

Or you just don't know how to knock the bugs outta yer teef an hair good enuf..

You're a fool if you think you can get away with anything. They know everything, you don't even have to ask, they'll tell ya all the time anyway.

I have been busted so many times, she knows everything it is in their genes. So many times I said to myself how did she every figure that out, no way she could possible know, but she always does.

So now I just fess up and take the beaten.

We know stuff.....

You don't need to know how we know, we just do.

And you can't lie to us either. We know when you're telling porkies too.

But I'll give you two pieces of advice for free......
1) don't tell your computer to "remember me" on forums...and put the cover page as your favourite - not the forum index.

and

2) Men can't have female intuition.

This doesn't suprise me in the least... women just know. Don't mess with them man. I've been married 24 years (to the same woman) and I learned the secret to marital bliss many years ago... I just shut up and do what I'm told, accept all blame, and never every try and keep anything from her. It just seems to keep everything in harmony that way.

It's that d*^#n mom gene. It's worse than the shopping gene they're also born with. After 29 years of husband school, I still flunk pop quizes. Lucky I got a good wife, she puts up with me!

Keith, the married world is dangerous!! Last Thursday night, told the wife I was going to Bike night, to meet up with a couple of guys, maybe have a beer. Didn't tell her it was at Hooters.
Walked thru the door at 10:30 at night she hit me with, "You had more than one beer and you went to Hooters" Busted big time! How do they do it?????

There is an old saying, "There are two theories about arguing with women and neither one works." Now if you want to understand men, here we go: (the order of importance changes without notice) Sex,Food,Sleep,Play With Toys,Leave Him Alone. If something is wrong it is probably a deficiency in one of those four. I'm sorry its not more complicated than that.

Believe it or not, you can just ask. The order I listed them
in are the default settings.
