If I don't feel comfortable doing a big bore install, who can I go to do it for me? Is there any particular type of place I should look for? Can the dealer probably do it?

Oh man!! I'm going to jail!!

David, a good automotive machinist can press the cyclinder sleeves in for you. any good bike mechanic can install cylinders and pistons. Or you could schedule a vacation and take it up to Pat's(Dinqua) place (Upstate N.Y.). I'm sure for the right amount of beer he'll do you a good job......Angelis

Call around to soem older bike shops. You should also be able to find a good machine shop to do the work, or just send the jugs off to my guy, address listed on site.
It's not really that hard a job, but if you are not comfortable attacking it, then by all means don't.
If you ask the local bike shops who they use for machine work, that is a good place to start.
And the sleeves are not just pressed out either, the jugs are one piece and much be machined out. Wiseco can also do them, their adress of their machine shop is printed on the piston wrappers in the kit. It has all the machine shop destructions in there as well.
If you have the dealer do it, expect to pay about $2000 total costs. You can probably find someone to do it locally for you though.

A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice. Pat
